The Buffet de la Gare (Railway Station Bar) was surely created at the same time than the station itself, in the middle of the 19th century. This is how it looked like in the 1920's. The view is taken from the railway. Today it would be impossible to install such a terrace along the railway. There are to much security reasons and laws against that.
