Here are again some views of the main entrance on the city side and of the statues which decorate the stairs on the park side. The lions are still at the same place but the statues over them have now disappeared. Last, here is a view taken from the Castle's façade, towards the city. You can see in the foreground the Castle's Place, bordered on the left by some buildings. In those buildings, there was the cinema of Saverne. In the background, you can see the church of the old Recollets Monastery which we will now visit. After this visit, we will continue our descent of Main Street right, towards the middle city.
