Located in the upper part of Main Street, the Café Adès, later called Café Guillmot after
the name of its innkeepers Emile Guillmot, doesn't exist anymore.
The building was transformed several times since the view hereunder was taken, at the beginning of the 20th century (right).
In 1910 approximatively, the façade was completely transformed, and a terrace was created at the second level of the building. Even the little oriel of Renaissance style under the window in the middle was eliminated. At that time, the café is called "Café Guillmot".
Later, the building will house the Social Security Centre of Saverne. Since then, it has been transformed in a little shopping centre.
